System Verification Engineer di Singapore

Currently we have positions for System Verification Engineer  for one of our client in Singapore details as below.

Scope
The primary task of the candidate will be to write and execute system test plans for 802.11a/b/g based wireless networking products
The candidate will work with the development team to write a thorough system test plans for the products
Candidate must be able to configure and debug test hosts, write test scripts, execute test scenarios and create test reports
Simulate customer issues and provide timely feedback to technical support and R & D team
Should perform multiple system verification tasks simultaneously
Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, must have prior experience as a test engineer

Basic Qualifications
 Degree in Electronics/Communications/Computer Engineering with majors in Networking Concepts
At least 2 years experience as a System Verification engineer contributing to testing of networking devices
Good track record of estimating and completing testing tasks on time

Key Skills
 Strong system testing, debugging and Network troubleshooting skills
Experience and working knowledge of Windows, Linux
Strong knowledge in TCP/IP, layer 2 & 3 networking and Internet networking at all levels of the OSI
Knowledge in VLAN, STP, sub-netting, routing, routing protocol, packet sniffing, throughput and performance testing
Understanding of various network and security features (VLAN, QoS, ACL, firewall, filtering, VPN etc.)
Understanding of RF communications/wireless and exposure in 802.11 domain is highly desirable
Familiarity with wireless network security features (WEP, WPA/WPA2, VPN. Multiple SSID etc)
Exposure of SNMP based network monitoring tools such as NMS, MRTG and other monitoring software
Network certifications preferred - wireless CWNA and/or CCNA
